Momentum Jazz
Whether you’re looking for traditional standards played by a solo pianist or smooth background music played by a quartet, we have the combo that’s right for you. That’s because MOMENTUM Jazz can be customized according to your needs - whether or not your event calls for dancing. MOMENTUM Jazz can even be incorporated into your MOMENTUM BAND package as this can be the perfect "dinner music" option. MOMENTUM Jazz combos can also perform for your corporate event, cocktail party or other networking event. In addition to the Band samples, check out our flute and guitar duos, solo piano and solo guitar options. We also have harps available, and unlimited customized ensembles! Momentum Classical
Our classical ensembles include some of Chicago’s most outstanding classical musicians, each of whom understands the nuance of each musical phrase - a sensitivity so important to performing in this genre. The MOMENTUM Baroque Trio (piano, flute and violin) and the MOMENTUM String Quartet are outstanding choices for wedding ceremonies, cocktail parties, anniversary parties and even concerts! Trumpets, organists and vocalists are available for wedding ceremonies as well!. If what you want is the ULTIMATE for your wedding ceremony, you want the MOMENTUM Symphony Orchestra! Momentum Strings
Violins will add elegance to your Momentum package. Using a string quartet or Baroque Trio (see Momentum Classical above) is an excellent choice. In addition, a string section can be added to your Momentum Band package (see the video clip "At Last"). Violinists can play during cocktail hour, alternate with Momentum Band providing elegant dinner music and can even provide the spectacular first impression as the first thing your guests see and hear as they enter the ballroom (see the video clip "cocktails"). Not least of all, MOMENTUM Strings can be a beautiful accompaniment to your wedding ceremony as they walk down the aisle, leading the way for the bridal party. Momentum Hybrid
If it’s Classical AND pop / Jazz you want from the same ensemble, NO PROBLEM! It’s very unusual for musicians to be proficient in both the classical and pop / Jazz styles, but they do exist. Momentum Talent Group works with an extraordinarily versatile, multi-talented group of musicians who can start the evening with Mozart, and end it with the Beatles!
